Scope
GB/T 13952-2016 is the English-translated version of 移动式平台及海上设施用电工电子产品环境条件参数分级.
GB/T 13952-2016 groups the environmental conditions that electric and electronic products meet on offshore mobile platforms and installations into parameter levels, so that a product's technical conditions can name the level it is designed for.
It sets levels for climatic and biological conditions, for chemically active substances - salt spray and oil mist in the air, airborne chemicals from other sources and chemicals in water - for explosive gas atmospheres, for mechanically active substances, and for mechanical conditions covering steady-state sinusoidal vibration, shock, tilt and swing.
It defines jack-up, column-stabilized and bottom-supported platforms, and notes that the levels are extreme conditions met for a short time; single-point mooring and floating marine devices may use it as a reference.
It replaces GB/T 13952-1992, was issued on 13 December 2016 and has applied since 1 July 2017.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the various platforms for the use of electrical and electronic products used in mobile platforms and offshore installations (hereinafter referred to as "platforms"). Condition and parameter classification.
