Foreword

This standard is equivalent to using ISO 10318:2005 "Geosynthetics - Terms and definitions" (in English).

This standard and ISO 10318:2005 as compared to, the following editorial changes.

--- "This International Standard" be replaced by "this standard";

--- Deleted international standards foreword;

--- No provision of international standard chapter number "scope" as the first chapter after chapter number postponed;

--- Remove the scope of the "note";

--- Increased in 2.3.3.1 "Note 2." this standard replaces GB/T 13759-1992 "geotextile term" this standard and GB/T 13759-1992 main differences are as follows.

--- Standard name changed to "Geosynthetics Terms and Definitions";

--- Increased directory;

--- Increased functional terms 2.1.6 and 2.1.7;

--- Increasing the product term 2.2.1.2.3 ~ 2.2.1.3.3;

--- Increased 2.4 and 2.3 Performance term durability terminology;

--- Added "symbol" chapter;

--- Added Appendix A.

1 Scope

This standard establishes geosynthetics function, product, performance and other terms and related symbols. The standard terms are not included it can be given in the relevant test method criteria.
