1 Scope

GB/T 13668-2015 is the Chinese national standard on general technical requirements for steel book cabinets and information cabinets, in the field of domestic and commercial equipment, entertainment, sport. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. 6 Inspection rules

6.1 Inspection classification Inspection is divided into exit-factory inspection and type inspection.

7.1 Marking The product marking shall at least include the following:

a) product name, specification and model;

b) implementation standard number;

c) inspection certificate, production date;

d) manufacturer's Chinese name and address.

7.2 Instructions for use The preparation of product instruction for use shall comply with the provisions of GB 5296.6, and the content shall at least include:

a) product name, specification and model, implementation standard number, production date;

b) overall dimensions, nominal thickness of steel plates of main components and their deviations;

c) technical requirements and precautions for product installation and adjustment;

d) method of application and matters needing attention of the product.

7.3 Packaging When required, the product shall be properly packaged to prevent product damage or contamination.

7.4 Transportation The product shall be protected by padding or packaging during transportation to prevent product damage or sun and rain.
