Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 13588-2006 "Lead and Lead Alloy Waste". Compared with GB/T 13588-2006, the main differences are in structural adjustments and compilation.

Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The file name was changed from "Lead and Lead Alloy Waste" to "Recycled Lead and Lead Alloy Raw Materials";

(b) The classification of recycled lead and lead alloy raw materials has been changed from four categories to three (see Chapter 4, 2006 edition). Chapter 3);

c) "Chemical composition" has been added (see 5.1);

d) Table 1 was modified, changing "waste lead-acid batteries" to "recycled lead-acid batteries" and "whole waste lead-acid batteries" to "whole waste lead-acid batteries".

The term "storage battery" has been changed from "lead ash" to "lead paste" in the recycling of lead-acid batteries (see Table 1, 2006 edition).

f) Additional testing items have been added (see 7.3).

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Recycled lead and lead alloy raw material

Lead and lead alloy materials, which are produced in industrial production and social life and have the value of recycling, are mainly composed of lead.

Raw materials are classified into three categories based on their physical form and chemical composition. Category I. Recycled lead-acid batteries; Category II. Pure lead parts and lead alloys; Category III. Lead ash.

And lead slag. The names and classifications of the raw materials are shown in Table 1.
