GB/T 13511.2-2025 is the English-translated version of 配装眼镜 第2部分:渐变焦定配眼镜.

Part 2 of China's series on assembled spectacles, covering progressive power prescription lenses - the varifocals made to an individual prescription and glazed to order. It specifies the requirements, the marking, labelling and packaging of progressive power prescription spectacles, and describes the corresponding test methods. It applies to the progressive power prescription spectacles of light transmittance class 0, made according to a spectacle processing order. A progressive lens is the hardest thing an optical workshop makes. The power changes continuously down the lens from the distance zone to the near zone, which means there is no single power to check: there is a distance reference point, a near reference point, a corridor between them along which the power must change at the designed rate, and zones either side of the corridor where the unavoidable astigmatic distortion has to stay within limits. And because the wearer's eyes must move along that corridor, the lens has to be glazed in exactly the right position relative to the pupil - so the fitting geometry is part of the product rather than of the fitting. The requirements therefore cover the optical properties at the reference points, the addition, the prismatic effect, the position of the reference points relative to the frame and to the wearer's centration, the surface quality and the permitted defects, and the dimensions and mounting. What makes this part necessary alongside the single vision one is that all of the tolerances are tighter and several of the quantities do not exist in a single vision lens at all. This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document is Part 2 of GB/T 13511 "Fitting spectacles". GB/T 13511 has been published in the following parts.

1.Single-focal and multifocal prescription spectacles;

2.Progressive focus prescription glasses;

3.Single vision presbyopia spectacles;

4.Multifocal and progressive presbyopic lenses. This document replaces GB 13511.2-2011 "Fitting spectacles - Part

2.Progressive focus". Compared with GB 13511.2-2011, except for the structure In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);

Fitted glasses include custom-made glasses and presbyopia glasses, which are suitable for vision correction of people with various refractive errors or presbyopia. The purpose of GB/T 13511 "Fitting glasses" is to standardize the fitting of glasses. Production and use, improve the quality and safety of fitted glasses, and protect the vision health of consumers. GB/T 13511, as a recommended standard supporting the mandatory standard, consists of four parts.

This document specifies the requirements, marking, labeling and packaging of progressive prescription spectacles and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to progressive focus custom-made glasses with a light transmittance of Class 0, which are made according to the glasses processing order.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 10810.2, GB/T 26397 and GB 45185 apply to this document.

4 Requirements

4.1 Vertex power of the main reference point Measure according to the method described in 5.2.The vertex power deviation of each principal meridian plane of the lens and the vertex power deviation of the cylindrical lens shall comply with GB 45185 regulations.

4.2 Cylindrical Axis Direction Measure according to the method described in 5.3.The axial deviation of the lens cylinder shall comply with the requirements of GB 45185.

4.3 Change in Vertex Power The test is carried out according to the method described in 5.4.The change in the vertex power of the progressive focus glasses including the main reference point and the secondary reference point shall comply with Table 1. regulations.
