This document is part 1 of GB/T 12184 "Information Processing Magnetic Ink Character Recognition". GB/T 12184 has issued the following
part.
--- Part 1.Printing Specifications for E13B;
--- Part 2.Printing specifications for CMC7.
This document replaces GB/T 12184-2007 "Information Processing Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Printing Specification". and GB/T 12184-2007
In contrast, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Changed the standard name;
b) the chapter "Terms and Definitions" was added (see Chapter 3);
c) changed the alignment tolerance (see 5.2.2, 4.2 of the.2007 edition);
d) Deleted the test equipment, test procedure, calibration secondary standard with metal wire card (see 11.2, 11.3, 11.4 of the.2007 edition);
e) Added the chapter "Floating Marks" (see Chapter 12);
f) Added MICR paper characteristics (see Appendix C).
This document is equivalent to ISO 1004-1.2013 "Information Processing Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Part 1.Printing Specifications for E13B".
This document adds the chapter "Normative References" and the chapter "Terms and Definitions".
The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.
--- Added the number and title of Table 1 (see 4.1);
--- Increase the number and title of Table A.1 (see Appendix A).
