Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document specifies the technical requirements related to food quality. For food safety requirements, please refer to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and food safety standards. document. This document is Part 3 of GB/T 11856 "Quality Requirements for Spirits". GB/T 11856 has already published the following parts.

3.Vodka (Otek) This document replaces GB/T 11858-2008 "Vodka (Odek)". Compared with GB/T 11858-2008, the main differences are in structural adjustments and rewriting. Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The definition of the term "flavored vodka" has been changed (see 3.2,.2008 edition);

b) The "sensory requirements" have been amended (see 4.1,.2008 version 4.1);

c) The "Physical and Chemical Requirements" have been revised (see 4.2,.2008 edition of 4.2);

d) The hygiene requirements have been removed (see

4.3 in the.2008 edition);

e) The testing methods for "sensory requirements" and "alcohol content" have been changed (see 5.2, 5.3, and 5.1,

5.2 in the.2008 edition);

f) The "Batching" and "Judgment Rules" have been changed (see 6.1, 6.4,

6.4 in the.2008 version);

g) Changes were made to "Marking", "Packaging", and "Transportation and Storage" (see 7.1-7.3,.2008 edition 7.1-7.3);

h) The table comparing the density of aqueous alcohol solutions with alcohol content (ethanol content) has been removed (see Appendix A of the.2008 edition). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Vodka Ottoman Made from grains, tubers, molasses, and other edible crops, edible alcohol is produced through fermentation and distillation, and then refined using special processes. Distilled spirits produced through processing. [Source: GB/T 17204-2021, 3.17]

3.2 Flavored vodka A beverage made with vodka (3.1) as the base and added with natural food flavorings and fragrances, which can be sweetened or not. [Source: GB/T 17204-2021, 3.18]
