This section provides the determination of gold in silver content. This section applies to the determination of gold in silver content. Measurement range. 0.0005% - 0.0400%.
2 Method summary

3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloric acid (rho about 1.19g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.2 HCl (1 + 1). Hydrochloride 3.3 (1 + 9).
3.4 hydrochloride (Ba (HCl) = 3mol/L).
3.5 nitric acid (rho about 1.42g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.6 nitric acid (1 + 1). Dilute aqua regia 3.7. 1 to 3 parts of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid and 3 parts of water and mix.
3.8 ethyl acetate.
3.9 silver standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1000g metallic silver (mass fraction >=99.95%), low-temperature heating was dissolved in 10mL of nitric acid (3.6) Was added 30mL ~ 40mL of hydrochloric acid (3.1), heated to boiling until the precipitate is completely dissolved, cool to room temperature. 3.10 Silver standard solution. Pipette 25.00mL silver standard stock solution (3.9) in 200mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with hydrochloric acid (3.3) Degree, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 12.5µg silver.
4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer, with a silver hollow-cathode lamp. Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
