This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 10836-2008 "Requirements for Shipbuilding and Ship Technology Marine Incinerators", and is consistent with GB/T 10836-2008
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Modified the heat capacity of the incinerator (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
---Modified some cited documents (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2008 edition);
---Relevant terms and definitions have been revised (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);
---The classification and basic parameters of incinerators have been added (see Chapter 4);
---Modified some technical requirements of incinerators (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4~Chapter 8 of the.2008 edition);
---Modified the incinerator test method and inspection rules (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7, Chapter 9 of the.2008 edition);
--- Incinerator packaging, transportation and storage requirements have been added (see Chapter 9);
---Added ISO 18309.2014 related content (see Appendix E).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Cargo-associated waste
The waste generated during the stowage, loading and unloading of cargo on ships.
Note. Generally, it includes lining board, support board, lining material, packaging material, plywood, paper, cardboard, iron wire and steel strapping.
3.2
Cargo residue cargoesidues
Residues in the process of ship freight and goods stacking, that is, those that cannot be loaded in the cargo hold (overloading and overflow) or remain residual after unloading
Wastes left in the cargo hold (unloading residue and overflow).
3.3
Domesticwaste
Food wastes, domestic sewage and other wastes produced in the living quarters of ships, but excluding grey water.
