Scope

GB/T 10827.4-2026 is the English-translated version of 工业车辆安全要求和验证第4部分：无人驾驶工业车辆及其系统.

Driverless industrial trucks, often called automated guided vehicles, are now common in factories and warehouses, and this recommended national standard addresses the safety requirements and verification for such trucks and their systems. It forms Part 4 of the series on safety requirements and verification for industrial trucks and is of interest to vehicle manufacturers, system integrators, intralogistics planners, safety assessors, test bodies and the operators who deploy automated truck fleets.

The document adopts an international standard and replaces GB/T 10827.4-2023. It was prepared under the China Machinery Industry Federation. Companies exporting driverless trucks into China, or building them there, can use it to see how safety expectations and verification are framed, and to align product files and risk assessments with the current Chinese edition. It becomes effective on 1 April 2027.

GB/T 10827.4-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 28 September 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 April 2027.

This edition replaces GB/T 10827.4-2023.
