Introduction
Terminology is a collection of names used to represent concepts in a specific discipline. It is one of the basic elements of a standard and is essential for scientific research, teaching, and technology.
The key to unifying concepts in technical exchanges and cooperation is GB/T 10826, which is based on the current situation of my country's fuel injection system industry and references international standards.
This is a complete set of industry terminology standards for fuel injection systems, compiled in accordance with international advanced standards. Fuel injection systems are a component of internal combustion engines (gasoline engines).
The fuel injection system is a core subsystem in diesel engines used for precise fuel supply control. It has a wide scope and numerous products. Depending on the type of fuel injection system, GB/T 10826 is divided into the following 5 parts.
---Part 1: Fuel Injection Pumps. The purpose is to define the terminology and definitions of fuel injection pumps in fuel injection systems.
---Part 2: Injectors. The purpose is to define the terminology and definitions of injectors in fuel injection systems.
---Part 3: Pump Nozzles. The purpose is to define the terminology and definitions of pump nozzles in fuel injection systems.
---Part 4: High-Pressure Fuel Lines and End Connections. The purpose is to define the technical specifications of high-pressure fuel lines and end connections in fuel injection systems.
Language and definition.
---Part 5: Common Rail Fuel Injection Systems. The purpose is to define the terminology and definitions for fuel injection pumps in common rail fuel injection systems.
This document supplements GB/T 1883 (all parts) to facilitate technical exchange on fuel injection pumps and computer management of maintenance parts.
Provides general vocabulary.
Fuel Injection Glossary Part 1: Fuel Injection Pump
1 Scope
This document defines the terminology and definitions for fuel injection pumps in fuel injection systems.
This document applies to the research, design, manufacture, and use of fuel injection pumps for compression ignition engines (diesel engines).
2 Normative references

3 General Terms
fuel injection pump
A device that pressurizes fuel and supplies it to the combustion chamber at regular intervals and in measured quantities through one or more high-pressure fuel lines and injectors.
Using old fuel injection pumps as remanufacturing blanks, the technical performance, reliability, and service life are improved through professional repair or upgrade.
The quality characteristics of the fuel injection pump are no less than those of the prototype new product (3.1).
4 Working Principle
Fuel injection pump (3.1) whose plunger movement is directly driven by the operating mechanism.
An injection pump (3.1) that drives the piston movement with energy stored in an accumulator.
An injection pump (3.1) whose plunger is driven by external power and with or without an intermediate booster device.
Fuel injection pump with constant stroke plunger (3.1).
Variable stroke plunger fuel injection pump (3.1).
