Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 10302-1988 "People's Republic of China railway station name code".

This standard and GB/T 10302-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.

This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China.

This standard is owned by the Ministry of Railways Standard Measurement Research Institute.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the national railway station code.

This standard applies to the national railway information management in the railway station information processing business.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Railway station railwaystations Refers to the stations and passengers on the national railway line that are put into operation. National railways include national railways and rail transport with national railways of the joint-stock railways, joint railways and local railways.

3 Station code preparation principles
