This section applies to a nominal voltage above 1000V, frequency less than 100Hz Shen overhead power line insulators and insulator string group consisting of porcelain or glass insulator string components.
This section also applies to DC overhead traction insulators and insulator Shen Shen group of lines used. This section also applies to insulator strings and insulator strings substation with a similar structure.
