Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 8233-2008 "sesame oil." Compared with GB/T 8233-2008, the main technical changes in this standard are as follows.

--- Modify the definition of some terms (see 3.3, 3.5, 2008 version 3.1, 3.3);

--- Added terminology and definition of "small sesame oil" (see 3.4);

--- Deleted some of the terms and definitions (3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 of the 2008 edition);

--- Modified classification (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2008 edition);

--- Modify the quality requirements (see 5.1, 5.2, 2008 version 5.1, 5.2).

This standard is proposed by the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Grain and Oil Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC270).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, inspection methods and rules, labels, packaging, storage and transportation of sesame oil.

This standard applies to sesame oil, sesame oil, sesame oil, sesame oil and refined sesame oil. The quality index of sesame oil is only Applicable to the trading of crude oil.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Sesame seeds made from raw materials for the oil.

The sesame seeds obtained by sesame seeds or pressing method and the sesame residue obtained by the water-generation method are unrefined and can not be eaten directly from the solvent leaching process.
