1 Scope

GB 7300.804-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 8: preservatives, mildew and acidity regulators - benzoic acid, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2026. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document applies to feed additive benzoic acid directly produced from petroleum toluene through catalytic oxidation, refining and purification, or Benzoic acid, a feed additive, is obtained by further refining industrial-grade benzoic acid obtained by catalytic oxidation of toluene as raw material.
