1 Scope

GB 7300.803-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 8: preservatives ,mildew preventives and acidity regulators - ammonium chloride, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2026. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document applies to feed additive ammonium chloride produced directly from sodium chloride, ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide via the alkali process; or Ammonium chloride, a feed additive, is produced directly from ammonium salt compounds and potassium chloride by ion exchange; or industrial ammonium chloride produced by the above process Ammonium chloride is a feed additive produced by recrystallization using ammonium chloride or agricultural ammonium chloride as raw materials.
