1 Scope

GB 7300.207-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 2: vitamins, provitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effects - nicotinamide, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 31 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 January 2027. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B 46. This document provides the chemical name, molecular formula, relative molecular mass, and structural formula of nicotinamide, and specifies the technical requirements for nicotinamide as a feed additive. Technical requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life are described, along with sampling and testing methods. This document applies to nicotinamide, a feed additive prepared by chemical synthesis from 3-cyanopyridine.
