1 Scope

GB 45188-2024 is the Chinese national standard on hand protection - protective gloves for welders, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Protects hands and arms from molten metal drops, limited flame, convection heat, contact heat, mechanical damage and vertical electrical shock. Protective gloves with resistance sufficient for DC arc welding (voltage less than 100V).
