This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

This document specifies the overall requirements for personal protective equipment for each employer in the automotive industry, the identification and evaluation of hazard factors, and individual Requirements for the provision of protective equipment. This document applies to the provision and management of individual protective equipment by employers in the automotive industry. This document does not apply to the provision and management of personal protective equipment for firefighting by employers in the automotive industry.

The terms and definitions defined in GB 39800.1-2020 apply to this document.

4 General requirements

The principles, management and procedures for the provision of personal protective equipment shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of GB 39800.1-2020.

5 Identification and assessment of hazard factors

Employers should combine the characteristics of production safety in the automotive industry and implement safety management in their production processes in accordance with the requirements of

4.2 of GB 39800.1-2020. The employer may identify and assess the hazards that may be involved in the work according to the work categories listed in Table 1, or refer to Appendix A. Identify the hazard factors for the listed jobs, conduct hazard assessment on the identified hazard factors, and use this as a basis for selecting appropriate personal protective equipment. Personal protective equipment, also known as labor protection equipment, is the "last line of defense" to protect the lives and safety of hundreds of millions of workers. Wearing and using personal protective equipment is an important means to ensure safe production and emergency management in my country. The standard for the allocation of protective equipment is a combination of Article 45 of the "Safety Production Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on the Administration of Labor Protection Articles for Employers". GB 39800 "Specification for the allocation of personal protective equipment" aims to establish the allocation of personal protective equipment for employers. The equipment and management requirements are planned to consist of the following 12 parts. --Part

The purpose is to establish the overall requirements for the provision of personal protective equipment by employers, including the principles of provision, Process, identification and assessment of workplace hazards, selection, scrapping and replacement, training and use of personal protective equipment, etc. -- Part

2.Petroleum, Chemical Industry, Natural Gas. The purpose is to establish the requirements for personal protective equipment for employers in the petroleum, chemical industry, and natural gas industries. Equipment requirements, identification and assessment of hazards, etc. -- Part
