Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 26537-2011 "Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete Manhole Covers". Compared with GB/T 26537-2011, the only differences are in the structural design.

Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The types and requirements for steel fiber reinforced ultra-high performance concrete manhole covers have been expanded (see 4.1.1, 6.1.2, 7.2.2, and 7.5);

(b) The classification, requirements, and test methods for combined manhole covers have been removed (see sections 4.1, 6.2.2, 7.5.2, and Appendix B of the 2011 edition);

c) The types and requirements of raw materials have been changed (see Chapter 5, 5.1 of the 2011 edition);

d) The requirements for concrete have been changed (see 6.1, 6.3 in the 2011 edition);

e) General requirements for well bases have been added (see 6.2);

f) The requirements for manhole cover dimensional tolerances have been changed (see 7.2, 6.2 in the 2011 edition);

g) The protective layer thickness requirements have been changed (see 7.5, 5.2.5 of the 2011 edition);

h) A test method for protective layer thickness has been added (see 8.5);

i) The factory inspection items have been changed (see 9.2, 8.2.1 of the 2011 version);

j) The test method for the load-bearing capacity of manhole covers has been changed (see Appendix A, Appendix A of the 2011 edition).

1 Scope

Requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, storage, transportation and product certificate of conformity.

This document applies to the production and inspection of manhole covers and their supporting frames used in municipal, construction, transportation, water conservancy, power, and telecommunications engineering projects.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 31387 and JG/T 472, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

Manhole covers are prefabricated using materials such as steel fiber reinforced concrete, steel reinforcement skeleton, and steel hoops.
