1 Scope of application

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1

Copper, nickel, cobalt industrial copper, nickel and cobalt industry

Refers to the mining, mineral processing and smelting industries that produce copper, nickel and cobalt metals, excluding the recycling of scrap copper, nickel and cobalt materials.

Smelting industry.

3.2

Characteristic production process and device

Refers to the mining, mineral processing, smelting production processes of copper, nickel and cobalt metals and the devices associated with these processes.

3.3

Existing enterprise existing facility

Refers to the copper, nickel or cobalt industrial enterprises or production facilities that have been completed and put into operation before the date of implementation of this standard.

3.4

New enterprise new facility

Refers to the construction, construction and expansion of copper, nickel and cobalt production facilities approved by the environmental impact assessment document from the date of implementation of this standard.

Effluent volume

Refers to the amount of wastewater discharged by a production facility or enterprise outside the legal boundaries of the enterprise, including various effluxes that are directly or indirectly related to production.

Standard condition

It refers to the state when the temperature is 273.15 K and the pressure is 101 325 Pa. The limits of atmospheric pollutant emission concentrations specified in this standard are based on standards.

The dry gas in the state is the standard.

3.9

Excess air coefficient

Refers to the ratio of the actual air volume to the theoretical air demand during the operation of the industrial furnace.

3.10

Exhaust volume

Refers to the amount of waste gas discharged into the ambient air by the industrial production process and equipment of copper, nickel and cobalt, including direct or indirect contact with the production process and equipment.

Benchmark exhaust volume per unit product

Refers to the upper limit of the displacement of copper, nickel and cobalt products produced by the production unit for the purpose of verifying the concentration of atmospheric pollutants.

Public wastewater treatment system

Refers to collecting waste water through sewage pipelines, providing wastewater treatment services for more than two sewage disposal units and draining can reach relevant rows
