Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part
1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB 18245-2000 "Safety Regulations for Dust Explosion Prevention in Tobacco Processing Systems". Compared with GB 18245-2000, except for the structure In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Added the term and definition of "dust removal room" (see 3.2);
b) The definition of "tobacco processing system" has been changed (see 3.1,
3.1 of the.2000 edition);
c) The terms and definitions of "dust explosion prevention" and "dust cloud" have been deleted (see
3.3 of the.2000 edition);
d) Added the identification, assessment and zoning control content of tobacco dust explosion hazard areas (see 4.2);
e) Added requirements for identification and suppression of ignition sources of major process equipment in tobacco processing systems and dust removal systems (see Chapter 5);
f) Added safety technical requirements for dust explosion prevention in tobacco dust removal systems (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7, and Chapter 8);
g) Added technical requirements for pneumatic ash conveying, spiral ash conveying, and manual ash collection (see 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7);
h) Added management requirements for inspection, maintenance and cleaning operations (see
8.7 and 8.8). Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document does not assume the responsibility for identifying patents. The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15604 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 The general term for the production process of processing tobacco leaves into finished cigarettes.
Note. This includes tobacco processing such as tobacco leaf redrying, tobacco leaf making, tobacco leaf rolling and packaging, and tobacco leaf reconstitution.
3.2 Dust removal room A building (structure) where tobacco dust collection and treatment equipment is centrally arranged.
