Scope
GB 16926-2009 is the English-translated version of 高压交流负荷开关 熔断器组合电器.
GB 16926-2009 — This document defines the terms and definitions for high-voltage AC load switch-fuse combination appliances (hereinafter referred to as "combination appliances"), and stipulates...
This document applies to functional circuit breakers or isolating load switches and current-limiting fuses used in public and industrial power distribution systems.
The combined three-electrode unit can be designed to. ---Interrupts any current up to and including the rated short-circuit breaking current at rated voltage; ---Close at rated voltage until maximum expected peak current.
This document applies to combined electrical appliances with rated voltages of 3.6kV to 40.5kV used in three-phase AC systems with a frequency of 50Hz. In this document, the term "combination" means that the components of a combined electrical appliance constitute a functional unit.
A given type of load switch... A type of load switch-fuse combination appliance is defined by combining it with a given type of fuse. Different types of fuses can be used...
Combined with a type of load switch, they form a series of combined electrical appliances with different characteristics, especially different rated continuous currents.
Therefore, load switch-fuse combination appliances are characterized by their model number and a range of alternative fuses (i.e., "reference") determined by the manufacturer.
The list of fuses is used to determine this. A combination of electrical appliances conforming to a given type in this document means that each combination uses any of the alternative fuses.
All electrical appliances can prove that they comply with this document. The fuse is installed to increase the short-circuit rating of the combined electrical appliance, exceeding the short-circuit rating when using a load switch alone.
The installation of an impactor serves two purposes. firstly, to automatically separate the three poles of the load switch by relying on the action of the fuse; and secondly, to ensure that the fault current exceeds the minimum melting current.
Operate correctly when the current is less than the minimum breaking current of the fuse. In addition to the fuse striker, the switchgear can also be equipped with overcurrent trip units or connected in parallel.
Trip unit. Note. In this document, the term "fuse" refers to a fuse or fusible element unless it would cause ambiguity in the text. For fuses, see GB/T 15166.2-2023.
Considering the current-limiting function of fuses, in addition to short-time current and short-circuit closing requirements, load switches, including their specific operating mechanisms, see [reference needed].
GB/T 3804-2017. In addition, load switches that include other functions (not included in GB/T 3804-2017) comply with their relevant standards (e.g.. Disconnecting switches and grounding switches (GB/T 1985-2023).
This document does not apply to combinations of fuses with circuit breakers, contactors, or line load switches, nor to combinations of motor circuits. This device is not yet suitable for combined electrical appliances that include a single capacitor bank load switch.
Devices that rely on manual operation are not within the scope of this document.
