GA 1029-2017Specification for setting up test venues and facilities for motor vehicle drivers (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

GA 1029 "Motor Vehicle Driver Examination Sites and Facilities Setting Specifications" and GA 1026 "Motor Vehicle Driver Examination Contents and Methods" Law", GA 1027 "General Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Driver Test Supervision System", GA/T 1028 "General Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Driver Test System Technical Conditions", GA/T 1030 "Use and Acceptance Specifications for Motor Vehicle Driver Test Sites and Test Systems" and GA/T 1458 "Motor Vehicle Driver the Standards for Supervision and Inspection of Examination Sites together constitute a series of standards to support the examination of motor vehicle drivers.

This document replaces GA 1029-2017 "Motor Vehicle Driver Examination Sites and Facilities Setting Specifications", and is consistent with GA 1029-2017 in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main content changes are as follows.

a) Added the terms and definitions of "motor vehicle driver test site facilities" (see 3.1);

b) Changed the terms and definitions of "vehicle capacity for venue operation" and "expected number of test takers per hour of the venue" (see 3.2, 3.3, 2017 edition 3.1, 3.2);

c) Deleted the terms and definitions of "main road", "secondary road", "branch road" and "motorcycle road" (see 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 of the 2017 edition);

d) Changed the design requirements for the motor vehicle driver test site (see Chapter 4, 4.1.1, 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.1.7, 4.2);

e) Changed the site setting requirements for subjects 1 and 3 of safe and civilized driving knowledge test (see 5.1, 4.4, 5.1.1, 5.1.1 of the 2017 edition 5.1.2, 5.1.5, 5.1.6, 5.2.1, 5.3);

f) Added the requirements for the composition of the facilities of the test site for subjects 1 and 3 of safe and civilized driving knowledge (see 5.2.1);

g) Changed the network facility requirements for subjects 1 and 3 of the safe and civilized driving general knowledge test site (see 5.2.3, 2017 edition 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.5, 5.1.3);

h) Changed the information announcement facility requirements for subjects 1 and 3 safe and civilized driving general knowledge test sites (see 5.2.4, 2017 edition 4.3.7, 4.4.2);

i) Changed the test computer requirements for the test venues of subjects 1 and 3 for safe and civilized driving (see 5.2.5, 2017 edition 5.1.7, 5.2.2);

j) Added the application server requirements for subjects 1 and 3 safe and civilized driving knowledge test sites (see 5.2.6);

k) Increased the computer requirements for the management of test sites for subjects 1 and 3 of safe and civilized driving knowledge (see 5.2.7);

l) Changed the anti-cheating facility requirements for subjects 1 and 3 of the safe and civilized driving knowledge test site (see 5.2.8, 2017 edition 5.1.4);

m) Changed the requirements for setting up test venues for subject 2 (see 6.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.1.5, 4.4, 6.1, 6.4.1.1, 6.4.1.5);

n) Added the requirements for the composition of facilities in the examination venue for subject 2 (see 6.2.1);

o) Changed the information announcement facility requirements of the subject 2 test site (see 6.2.4, 4.3.7, 4.4.2 of the 2017 edition);

p) Changed the test area facility requirements of the subject 2 test site (see 6.2.7, 4.1.6, 6.1.5, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4.1.3, 6.4.1.3, 6.1.4.4, 6.5);

q) Changed the graphic size deviation of the subject 2 test items (see Table 3~Table 16, 6.4.1.2 of the 2017 edition);

r) Changed the size requirements for the project of reversing small cars into storage (see Table 3, Figure 2 of the 2017 edition);

s) Changed the size requirements for pile test items of large passenger cars, medium passenger cars and large trucks (see Table 4, Figure 3 of the 2017 edition);

t) Added the graphics and size requirements for pile test items of light-duty traction trailers (see 6.3.2.3);

u) Changed the size requirements of pile test items for three-wheeled vehicles and motorcycles (see Table 7, Figure 5 of the 2017 edition);

v) Changed the size requirements of pile test items for motorcycles (see Table 8, Figure 6 of the 2017 edition);

w) Changed the size requirements for side parking items of large passenger cars, large trucks, and small cars (see Table 9, Figure 8 of the 2017 edition);

x) Added graphics and size requirements for light-duty tractor-trailer curve driving items (see Table 11);

y) Changed the size requirements for right-angle turning items of large trucks and small cars (see Table 12, Figure 11 of the 2017 edition);

z) Increased the size requirements for light-duty traction-trailer right-angle turning items (see Table 12);

aa) Added graphics and size requirements for ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles and mopeds passing through single-sided bridges (see 6.3.7.2);

bb) Changed the size requirements for large passenger cars and large trucks passing through the width-limited gate (see Table 15, Figure 12 of the 2017 edition);

cc) Deleted the graphics and size requirements for passing continuous obstacles (see 6.4.10 of the 2017 edition);

dd) Deleted the graphics and size requirements for undulating road driving items (see 6.4.11 of the 2017 edition);

ee) Changed the size requirements for large passenger cars and large trucks on narrow road U-turn projects (see Table 16, Figure 15 of the 2017 edition);

ff) Changed the setting requirements for simulated highways (see 6.3.12, 6.4.15 of the 2017 edition);

gg) Changed the composition requirements of the road driving skill test site for subject three (see 7.1.1, 4.4.1 of the 2017 edition);

hh) Changed the test road section requirements for subject three road driving skill test venues (see 7.1.3, Chapter 7 of the 2017 edition);

i) Changed the facility requirements for subject three road driving skill test sites (see 7.2, 4.3.1, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.4, 4.3.5, 4.3.7, 4.4.2);

j) Changed the vehicle type requirements (see 8.1, 8.1 of the 2017 edition);

kk) The operating requirements for test vehicles of permitted type such as large passenger cars and heavy-duty traction trailers have been added (see 8.2.3);

l) Added the secondary braking requirements for vehicles in the road driving skill test for subject 3 (see 8.2.5);

mm) Added the modification requirements for vehicles used for the examination of applicants with upper limb disabilities (see 8.2.6);

nn) Added test vehicle requirements for light-duty traction trailers (see 8.2.7);

oo) Added large passenger cars, heavy-duty traction trailers and other permitted types of test vehicles, the parking brake should not use electronic control devices, should not Equipped with devices or functions such as ramp assistance and one-button start (see 8.2.9);

pp) Increased the requirement for the service life of the test vehicle (see 8.2.11);

qq) Changed the informative appendix (see Appendix A, Appendix A of the 2017 edition);

rr) Added an informative appendix (see Appendix B) for the route model surveying and recording examples of the road driving skills test of subject three.

1 Scope

This document specifies the site design of the motor vehicle driver's test site and its facilities, and the routines for safe and civilized driving in subjects 1 and 3.

Knowledge test venues and facilities, subject 2 test venues and facilities, subject 3 road driving skills test venues and facilities, and test vehicles.

This document applies to the construction and renovation of motor vehicle driver test sites and their facilities.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated references for documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
