Scope
CB/T 64-2007 is the English-translated version of 船用焊接通风法兰.
CB/T 64-2007 is the Chinese shipbuilding industry standard for welded ventilation flanges, the flanges welded to the ducts of a ship's ventilation system to join duct sections, fans and fittings. Ventilation ducting runs through the whole ship and is assembled from many standard parts, so shipyards and suppliers use a common standard for the flanges so that ducts from different sources fit together. The standard defines the marine welded ventilation flange as a standard ship part, with its types, dimensions and technical requirements. Issued by the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense on 23 March 2007, it has applied since 1 October 2007, replacing CB/T 64-1999.
