The UHMWPE powder described in GB/T 19701.1 lies outside its scope. The standard is an identical adoption of ISO 5834-5-2005 and quotes GB/T 19701.1, GB/T 2146.1 and GB/T 2146.2. Issued on 30 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2011.
