2 Scope

This standard is part 3 of the YY 0059 series and is the mandatory standard for the No. 4 and No. 7 curved dental handpieces., setting their product classification, their technical requirements and the test methods, then the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging materials, transport and storage. The handpieces it covers hold the drilling and cutting tools used in dentistry, for instance in molar surgery. The part superseded WS 2-59-1973. Its checks refer to GB 191, GB 2828, GB 5046.1, WS 2-1, ZB C30001 and ZB C30002.2.
