1 Scope

This section YS/T 227 specifies the method for determination of tellurium in iron content.

This section applies to the determination of iron content in tellurium. Measurement range. 0.0005% to 0.006%.

2 Principle of the method

Samples with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid dissolved in hydrochloric acid medium, sulfite reduction tellurite to tellurium acid precipitation to remove the matrix, iron and phenanthroline formed Colored complex in a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 510nm absorbance measurement of iron. 3 Reagents
