This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
"Determination of the amount of bismuth telluride (potassium iodide, dimethyl brucine photometric method)" in this section instead of YS/T 227.1-1994. versus YS/T 227.1-1994 compared, this section has the following changes.
--- Changed the measurement method using hydride generation - atomic fluorescence spectrometry;
--- Expands the measurement range, modify 0.0001% 0.0025%;
--- Complements the precision, quality assurance and control provisions;
--- Complements the "test report" requirement.
The non-ferrous metal part by the National Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243) centralized.

1 Scope
YS/T of the provisions of the section 227 determination of tellurium content of bismuth.
This section applies to the determination of bismuth tellurium content. Measurement range. 0.0001% to 0.0025%.
2 Principle of the method
Samples with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid dissolved in hydrochloric acid medium, sulfite reduction tellurite to tellurium acid precipitation to remove the matrix, using a hydride - atomic fluorescence Spectrophotometer Determination of bismuth content.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 nitrate (rho1.43g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.2 hydrochloric acid (rho1.19g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.3 hydrochloride (11).
3.4 hydrochloric acid, 20% (volume fraction).
3.5 sulfurous acid (sulfur dioxide containing not less than 6.0%).
3.6 ascorbic acid solution (100g/L).
3.7 solution of potassium borohydride (10g/L). Weigh 10g of potassium borohydride dissolved in 1000mL potassium hydroxide solution (5g/L), a shake. Active Now equipped.
3.8 bismuth standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1000g bismuth (>=99.95%), plus 10mL of nitric acid (11), low temperature heating is completely dissolved, add Into 50mL of nitric acid (3.1), cooled and transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 0.10mg bismuth.
3.9 Bismuth standard solution. Pipette 2.00mL bismuth standard stock solution (3.8) in 200mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with hydrochloric acid (14), shake uniform. This solution 1mL containing 1.0µg bismuth.
4 Instrument
Atomic fluorescence spectrometer, with high-intensity hollow cathode lamp bismuth.
Under optimum working conditions, where the index can be used to achieve the following.
--- Detection limit. not more than 2 × 10-9g/mL.
--- Precision. measuring the fluorescence intensity of 10 times with a bismuth standard solution 0.02µg/mL, which should not exceed the standard deviation of the mean fluorescence intensity 5.0%.
