1 Scope
This part of YS/T 1120 specifies the method for the determination of gold in gold and tin alloys.
This part is applicable to the determination of gold content in gold and tin alloy. The measurement range is 5% to 85%.
2 Method summary
Containing more than 35% of the tin content of the sample, the ingredients, melting lead to lead to lead with precious metal gold and silver lead buckle. Blowing gold and silver with lead Buckle separation, get gold and silver tablets, the nitric acid after the silver, the weight of the determination of gold content.
Tin content of not more than 35% of the sample, adding the right amount of silver, wrapped in lead foil, 920 °C ± 10 °C for the soaked, so that lead and tin by oxygen and gold and silver separation, get gold and silver tablets. After the silver nitrate, the content of gold was determined by gravimetric method.
