YD/T 6897.3-2026 specifies a system of service quality indicators for video services that is based on computing capability, together with the evaluation method. It covers the breakdown of video service indicators, the selection of indicator parameters and the calculation methods. It applies to assessing whether the computing capability allocated to a video service is reasonable and to optimization strategies, and it can serve as the service quality requirement that video services place on computing capability in scenarios combining video and computing.

The document is used by video service providers, by operators who allocate computing resources, and by test and assessment bodies. It is Part 3 of the series. It is a voluntary standard issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 1 June 2026 and effective from 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
