YD/T 6897.1-2026 specifies technical requirements for computing capability that serves video services. It covers typical application scenarios, the types of computing capability, and the computing requirements of the sub-services that make up video services. This is Part 1 of a series of three parts, and it deals with application scenarios. It applies to scenarios in which video processing and computing are combined.

The document is used by video service providers, by network and computing resource operators, and by equipment and platform developers who need a common description of how video services draw on computing capability. It is a voluntary standard issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 1 June 2026 and effective from 1 September 2026. It is a new standard. The other parts of the series cover requirements and modeling, and indicators and service quality.
