Part 2 of the series on development and operation (DevOps) platforms for telecommunication operation and management specifies technical requirements for the operator-side DevOps process management interfaces (the Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 interfaces) and for the artifact delivery interface (the X interface). For each interface it covers the functions, the protocols and the information model. It applies to the development, construction and operation of integrated DevOps systems on the operator side and on the supplier side, and to the integration and use of operator-side DevOps systems with the OSS of communication networks built with NFV technology.
Users include telecom operators, software and equipment suppliers, platform developers and system integrators. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). It was approved and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026, was prepared under the China Communications Standards Association, and takes effect on 1 June 2026.
