YD/T 3505-2026 is the English-translated version of 运营商网络的IPv6支持度评测指标体系.

YD/T 3505-2026 defines an index system and matching evaluation methods for measuring how well a carrier network supports IPv6. The indicators cover four areas: IPv6 support capability, active IPv6 users, the share of IPv6 traffic, and network quality. The document applies to evaluating the level of IPv6 support while a carrier network goes through its IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack transformation, so that progress can be assessed against a common set of measures.

The standard is intended for telecom carriers, network planners and evaluation or testing bodies that need to measure and report IPv6 deployment in an operator network. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It replaces YD/T 3505-2019.
