Foreword

YC/T 89 "Tobacco Machinery Vibrating Screening Machine" is divided into two parts.

--- Part 1. Type and basic parameters;

--- Part 2. Technical conditions.

This part is the second part of YC/T 89.

This part replaces YC/T 89.2-1996 "Tobacco Machinery Vibrating Screening Machine Part 2. Technical Conditions".

Compared with YC/T 89.2-1996, the main changes in this section are as follows.

--- Increased test methods for conveying screening capacity (see 4.1);

--- Revised the content of the screening efficiency test method (4.3 of the 1996 edition; Appendix A of this edition);

--- Modified the requirements for screening machine noise (3.5 of the 1996 edition; 3.4.4 of this edition);

--- Delete the measurement of the dust content of the plant (4.5 of the 1996 edition);

--- Delete the chapter on classification and naming (Chapter 6 of the 1996 edition);

--- Delete the chapter on product liability (Chapter 8 of the 1996 edition).

Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C of this part are normative appendices.

1 Scope

This part of YC/T 89 specifies the technical requirements for vibrating screening machines for tobacco.

This section applies to vibratory screening machines (hereinafter referred to as screening machines) that transport screening tobacco materials.

2 Normative references

The terms in the following documents become the provisions of this part by reference to this part of YC/T 89. For dated references, all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, an agreement is encouraged under this section.

The parties are studying whether the latest version of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this section.

3 Technical requirements
