This standard uses redrafted law revision adopted CORESTA recommended method N ° 68.2010 "Determination cigar main non-scattering infrared method Carbon monoxide in the flue gas stream. " the standard relative to CORESTA recommended method N ° 68.2010 made the following editorial changes.

--- The standard name be changed to "the determination of carbon monoxide in the mainstream smoke cigar non-scattering infrared method";

--- With a decimal point "." Instead of a comma as the decimal point "." this standard CORESTA Recommended Method N ° 68.2010 there are technical differences compared to the terms of these differences has been involved through its external A single vertical line blank side margin positions were identified and given a list of corresponding technical differences and their reasons in Appendix A.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Gas was vapourphase

Conventional analysis conforming YC/T 463 requirements with cigar smoking machine, press YC/T 461 pumping process by cigar smoke Flue part trap.

Principle 4

According to YC/T 463 suction cigar collecting mainstream smoke gas phase composition. Use a calibrated non-scattering infrared analyzer that Gas was collected carbon monoxide was calculated cigar mainstream smoke of carbon monoxide.

5 Equipment

Common laboratory equipment and items specified below.

5.1 Routine analytical cigar smoking machine and accessories, in line with YC/T 461 requirements.

5.2 vapor collection system to meet the following conditions.

a) collection system should not interfere with normal operation of the smoking machine and the total particulate matter, measured smoke nicotine.

b) the use of carbon monoxide at a concentration of 5% (volume fraction) [4% to 6% (volume fraction)] of the gas collection system to check for gas Phase impermeability. The carbon monoxide gas into the gas collecting apparatus previously evacuated, immediately measured concentration of carbon monoxide.

Changes in the concentration of carbon monoxide less than 3h no more than 0.3% (volume fraction).

c) Reference smoking conditions to select the appropriate bag, gas volume collected depends on the diameter of the cigar and suction capacity, the capacity of the bag Phase volume of at least the sum of the volumes of the suction and cleaning, but not more than twice the sum.

5.3 non-scattering infrared analyzer to meet the following conditions.
