--- Part 12. Packaging and appearance.
This section YC/T 169 Part 7.
This Part replaces YC/T 169.7-2002 "standard series measured tow for cigarette - Part 7. moisture regain." this section compared with YC/T 169.7-2002 main changes are as follows.
--- By the name of this section. Change "series of standards for cigarette tow measuring moisture regain Part 7" to "cigarette tow measured physical and chemical properties Part reference 7. Regain ";
--- Measurement report in the "test results" to "environmental conditions and measurement results of the test";
--- Measurement report adds two things. "the provisions of this part of the step of determining the difference" and "observed abnormal test phenomenon".

YC/T 27 cigarette polypropylene fiber tow Principle 3 After the sample was weighed, placed in (105 ± 2) °C oven drying to constant weight of water, wet weight and dry weight of the sample divided by the difference between the dry weight of the resulting one hundred Score, it means that the moisture regain of the specimen.
4 Equipment
4.1 Drying oven. Temperature fluctuation ± 1 °C, temperature uniformity of ± 2 °C.
4.2 Balance. a sense of the amount of 0.001g.
Weighing 4.3 box. diameter of about 64mm, height of about 40mm, sealing requirements.
4.4 Sample container. for holding the sample, should be non-hygroscopic sealed container.
4.5 Other tools. yarn gloves, silicone dryers, scissors and so on.
5 Sampling
According to the provisions YC/T 27 sampling, after sampling should be weighed into the sample vessel and quickly sealed.
6 Measuring step
6.1 Oven power is turned on, so keep the vents in the half-open state, the inside temperature stable at 105 °C ± 2 °C.
6.2 Open the sample lid, the lid will be placed in the box with the middle blast drying oven 30min, stamped out into a dryer, and cooled to After weighing room temperature, accurate to 0.001g, then immediately placed in a dryer.
6.3 30g sample clip about evenly divided into two, were placed in two samples of known weight box, and immediately be covered with lid Weighing, accurate to 0.001g.
6.4 Open the sample cover, and the cartridge cover along the middle drybox blast drying, the sample cell density of 1/160cm2 ~ 1/200cm2; when the temperature rise and maintained at 105 °C ± 2 °C, the start time.
6.5 Timing over 90min, remove the stamp placed in the dryer. After cooling to room temperature, weighing, accurate to 0.001g.
6.6 Determination of personnel during the measurement should wear gloves yarn.
