This part is the third part of YC/T 12. This part replaces YC/T 12.3-1993 "Tobacco Machinery Product Process Document Products" Structural Process Review. Only minor editorial changes were made during the revision, and the main content has not changed.

Appendix A of this section is an informative annex.

1 Scope

This part of YC/T 12 stipulates the timing, purpose, factors, contents and procedures of the structural process review of tobacco machinery products.

This section applies to the structural process review of tobacco machinery products.

2 Normative references

The terms in the following documents become the provisions of this part by reference to this part of YC/T 12. For dated references, all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, an agreement is encouraged under this section.

The parties are studying whether the latest version of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this section.

3 General requirements

3.1 All new and improved designs shall undergo a structural process review at all stages of product design.

3.2 For external product drawings, a structural process review should also be carried out before the first production.

4 Purpose of the review

Carrying out the product structure process review is to make the designed products meet certain technical requirements under the premise of satisfying the use function.

In order to manufacture it under economical and reasonable methods under existing production conditions, it should be easy to use and repair.

5 Main factors that should be considered in assessing product structure and processability

5.1 Product structure processability includes.

a) Production processability refers to the ease of manufacture and economic and environmental protection requirements;

b) The use of processability refers to the ease and economy of operation, maintenance and repair during use.

5.2 Main factors that should be considered in assessing product structure and processability include.

a) the type and complexity of the product;

b) the production or type of production of the product;

c) Existing production conditions.

6 Review content

6.1 The review of the preliminary design phase includes.

a) review the rationality of the structural programme from a manufacturing perspective;

b) the inheritance of the structure;

c) the degree of standardization and serialization of the structure;

d) whether the components of the product are easy to assemble, adjust and repair;

e) whether the selection of the main materials is reasonable;

f) The possibility of processing key parts of the process.
