WS/T 877-2026 is a standard for health education services in integrated medical and elderly care, the model in which medical treatment and care for older people are provided together. It deals with how health education is delivered to older people within that kind of service.

It is used by medical institutions, elderly care institutions and community health providers that offer integrated medical and elderly care, by the staff who give health education, and by administrators who organize and supervise these services. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was approved by the National Health Commission, issued on 28 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
