Scope

TB/T 2033-2026 is the English-translated version of 轨道车轨道平车.

TB/T 2033-2026 covers rail vehicles of the flat car type, that is, track-borne vehicles with an open load platform used on railway lines to carry materials, equipment and work gangs. The document is a product standard and sets out the requirements for this class of vehicle, together with the way those requirements are checked.

It is used by railway maintenance and construction organizations that operate such cars, by manufacturers and repair workshops, and by buyers drawing up purchase specifications. The standard is voluntary, as the code carries the /T mark. It was approved by the National Railway Administration and its technical content falls under the Railway Industry Construction Machinery Standardization Technical Centralized Unit. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces TB/T 2033-2003, TB/T 3194-2008 and TB/T 3564-2020.

Foreword

TB/T 2033-2026 is a recommended industry standard of the People's Republic of China in the Railway sector, approved and issued by the National Railway Administration on 27 February 2026, with effect from 1 September 2026.

This edition replaces TB/T 2033-2003; TB/T 3194-2008; TB/T 3564-2020.

It is administered by the Railway Industry Standardization Technical Centralized Unit for Construction Machinery.
