3 Method summary
The sample was purified on a graphitized carbon black column, diluted with ethanol, measured by a gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ionization detector, and quantified by an external standard method.
4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, all reagents are of analytical grade and water is a grade of water specified in GB/T 6682.
4.1 Absolute ethanol (C2H6O). Chromatographically pure.
4.2 Ethanol solution (9 1, volume ratio). Accurately measure 450 mL of ethanol (4.1), add water to 50 mL, and mix.
4.3 Reference material. meso-2,3-butanediol standard, C4H10O2, CAS number. 5341-95-7, purity greater than 99%.
4.4 Standard stock solution (10.0 mg/mL). Accurately weigh the appropriate amount of standard material (4.3), and make a standard stock of 10.0 mg/mL with water.
Liquid preparation.
4.5 Standard Intermediate Solution (100.0mg/L). Accurately take 1.0mL standard stock solution (4.4), place in 100mL volumetric flask, add ethanol Dilute the solution (4.2) to the mark. A standard intermediate solution with a concentration of 100.0 mg/L was prepared.
