Foreword

SN/T 4120 "Export Food Contact Products Tableware and Tableware Concave Utensils" includes the following two parts.

--- Part 1. Requirements for preparing tableware;

--- Part 2. Technical requirements for stainless steel and silver-plated cutlery.

This part is the first part of the SN/T 4120.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part is equivalent to ISO 8442-1:1997 "Food contact products for tableware and tableware - Part 1 Requirements.

This section has made the following editorial changes.

--- Revised the standard name for the export of food contact products, cutlery for dishes and tableware - Part 1. Preparation of tableware Claim";

--- Removed the preface and introduction to international standards;

--- Revised the international standard of normative citation, replaced by the equivalent national standard.

This part is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration.

1 Scope

This part of the SN/T 4120 specifies the materials, performance requirements and testing methods for the tableware.

This section applies to appliances for the preparation of food and for the provision of meals.

This section divides the prepared tableware into two levels.

--- Ordinary preparation tableware blade or fork corrosion resistance can withstand the cleaning process of the dishwasher.

--- Special preparation tableware blade corrosion resistance can withstand dishwasher cleaning and disinfection process.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Cutlery

For the preparation of food and serving utensils, such as bladed and bladeless knives, spatula, trays and meat forks.

Normal corrected vision Correct the naked eye vision to normal levels if needed.

Note. Vision is usually corrected by wearing glasses.
