1 Scope

SN/T 3840 provisions of this part of the test methods Shoes and shoe antifungal ability.

This section applies to antibacterial shoe materials and footwear products.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Anti-fungal properties of anti-epiphyteactivity Product has properties inhibiting fungal growth.

For still contrastsamples Fungal growth conditions for validation testing footwear materials.

Note. the equivalent of material samples without antibacterial treatment.

4 Equipment and Materials

4.1 incubator temperature and humidity. The temperature can be maintained at (28 ± 2) °C, relative humidity can be maintained at 90% ± 5%.

4.2 Class II biological safety cabinet.

4.3 Balance. a sense of the amount of 0.001g.

4.4 Refrigerator. maintaining the temperature at between 2 °C ~ 8 °C.

4.5 Autoclave. temperature maintained at 121 °C, the pressure at 103kPa.

4.6 dish. diameter of 90mm.

4.7 Pipette. for each use of the range, with plastic nozzle, the error is not more than 0.5%.

4.8 centrifuge. speed 4000r/min.

4.9 flasks, test tubes, glass rods, glass beads and other glassware.

4.10 Sprayer. size of less than 50µm.

4.11 pH meter. reading accuracy 0.1.

4.12 chamber. airtight plastic box, made of glass and other materials, size not less than 200mm × 100mm × 100mm.
