1 Scope

SN/T 3468 This section provides the basic requirements of the damaged wire rope inspection and appraisal and general procedures.

This section applies to inspection and identification of damaged wire rope.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 8706, GB/T 21965 and SN/T 2388.2 and define the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Steel wire rope made of twisted.

Rope damaged damageofsteelwireropes Losses caused by the rope deformation, wear, corrosion, pitting, broken wire (shares) in the handling, transportation, storage, process and so on.

Damaged degree extentofdamage the number of wire rope, weight shortages, decline in quality or downgraded situation.

Damaging rate rateofdamage Ratio of the number (or weight) of the damaged portion of the wire rope to the original state.

Gusun rate rateofdamagebyappraisement Number damaging loss to the extent of the entire batch of rope were identified assessment drawn (or weight) and bulk quantity (or weight) ratio.
