1 Scope

This standard specifies the entry and exit of cultivation and seed cultivation medium carrying quarantine treatment.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Growing media growingmedium it can make root growth therein, or any substance used for this purpose. Cultivation media types, see Appendix A.

Heat treatment Cultivated medium heat, until the growing medium to maintain the shortest possible time at the lowest temperature point, the process will kill the pest.

Cold treatment Growing media for cooling, until the growing medium to maintain the shortest time at the highest temperature point, the process will kill the pest.
