1 Scope

This section SN/T 2389 provisions ashore vertical metal tank level automatic measurement procedures, requirements and methods.

This section applies to shore vertical metal tank of liquid cargo import and export of liquid level measurement.

This section does not apply to liquid level measurement freezing tank or pressure tank.

3 Terms and Definitions

SN/T 2389.1 and define the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Automatic level gauge; ALG Installed in shore tanks for liquid depth or ullage continuous automatic measuring device.

Ullage automatic tank gauge ulage-basedALG from the reference point for measuring the vertical distance to the automatic level gauge liquid surface.
