1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Bile acid tolerance Gram-negative bacteria bile-tolerantgram-negativebacteria A class can tolerate bile acid in crystal violet neutral red bile dextrose agar (VioletRedBileGlucoseAgar, VRBGA) on the growth of Gram-negative bacteria, including Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas, Aeromonas some bacteria.

4 Instruments and appliances

4.1 water bath. 45 °C ± 1 °C.

Thermometer 4.2. 1 °C ~ 55 °C, sub-scale 0.1 °C.

4.3 Incubator. 36 °C ± 1 °C.

4.4 straw. 1mL, 5mL and 10mL.

4.5 slap type homogenizer.

4.6 sterile or sterile cup homogeneous homogenous bag.

4.7 inoculating loop. diameter 3mm.

4.8 Balance. a sense of the amount of 0.1g.

4.9 conical flask. 100mL, 250mL, 500mL.
