1 Scope

This section specifies the definition, technical requirements, inspection and appraisal, quality level assessment and determination of inspection results of non-genuine wire rods.

This section applies to the inspection and identification of non-genuine wire rods and first-level residual wire rods.

2 Normative references

The provisions in the following documents become the provisions of this part by reference to this part of SN/T 1733. Quotations with dated , all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, encouragement is achieved under this section the parties to the agreement study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this section.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 701, GB/T 2101, GB 4223, GB/T 4354, GB/T 4356, GB/T 14981 and YB/T 18 established and below Column terms and definitions apply to this section.

It refers to steel that is hot rolled into a rod shape and wound into a roll. Its packaging, specifications, appearance, quality, etc. meet the production country standards or trade contracts the wire rod specified in the agreed standard (see Appendix A).

Trade is accustomed to call "secondary wire rod secondarywirerods", including other, non-quality wire rods.

It means that some or all of the packaging, specifications, appearance, quality, etc. of the product do not meet the requirements of the corresponding genuine standard, but the product still retains the original use of the wire rod.

Refers to the single package, specifications, appearance, quality, etc. in line with the requirements of the original wire rod standard, but the entire batch of goods exist in a variety of grades, a variety of specifications, a variety of Features such as material, package size, and weight difference.

Refers to a wire rod product that has serious defects, cannot be used for the original purpose, or can only be used for smelting and recycling of scraps.
