This part is the eighth part of SN/T 0400. This section refers to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis, and Critical Control Points.

This section is revised on the basis of SN 0400.7-1995. The main changes compared with SN 0400.7-1995 are as follows.

1 Scope

This part of SN/T 0400 specifies the determination of the sampling, inspection and inspection results of canned food packaging.

This section applies to the inspection of the inner and outer packaging of canned food.

2 Normative references

The terms in the following documents become the provisions of this section by reference to this part of SN/T 0400. For dated references, all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, an agreement is reached under this section.

The parties studied whether the latest version of these documents could be used. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this section.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this part of the SN/T 0400.

Upon inspection or audit records, it was found that the whole batch of cans had serious defects in safety and hygiene, and could not be identified by processing and finishing.

Completely eliminated; the number of serious defects found by the inspection is large; although it has been found that there are serious defective cans after processing and finishing, it is judged as the final unqualified, and is not allowed.
