SH/T 3142-2016 is the English-translated version of 石油化工计量泵工程技术规范.
SH/T 3142-2016 is the Chinese petrochemical engineering specification for controlled volume (metering) pumps, the positive displacement pumps that dose chemicals, catalysts and additives at a set flow in refineries and chemical plants. Engineering contractors and plant owners use it as the purchase specification for these pumps, so that the vendor's design, testing and documentation meet one common petrochemical standard. It covers packed plunger and hydraulically actuated diaphragm metering pumps, together with their drivers and auxiliary equipment, and sets the basic requirements for design, manufacture, inspection and testing, and preparation for delivery. Issued by MIIT on 15 January 2016 and applicable since 1 July 2016, it replaces SH/T 3142-2004.

This document was issued on 15 January 2016 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and has applied since 1 July 2016.
It replaces SH/T 3142-2004.
It is an SH/T standard: a recommended industry standard of China's petrochemical engineering, published under MIIT Announcement No. 3 of 2016.
1 Scope
